چکیده
Abstract Background Lipofilling has become popular as a treatment to improve aging-related skin characteristics (eg, wrinkles, pigmentation spots, pores, or rosacea). Different additives such platelet-rich plasma (PRP) stromal vascular fraction (SVF) have been combined with lipofilling increase the therapeutic effect of adipose-derived cells (ASCs). Objectives The aim this study was examine hypothesis that mechanically isolated SVF augments PRP-supplemented facial quality. Methods This prospective, double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized trial conducted between 2016 and 2019. In total, 28 female subjects were enrolled; 25 completed follow-up. All patients received either saline. by fractionation adipose tissue (tSVF). Results evaluated changes in elasticity transepidermal water loss, skin-aging-related features, ie, superficial texture, vascularity, pigmentation, well patient satisfaction (FACE-Q), recovery, number complications up 1 year postoperative. addition tSVF did not elasticity, features. No improvement overall appearance quality seen when added lipofilling. Conclusions comparison lipofilling, does healthy population. can be considered safe procedure. Level Evidence: 2

Evaluation of the Effect of Platelet-Rich Plasma on Temporomandibular Joint Disorders: A Split-Match Randomized Clinical Trial
Background and Aim: The reduction of temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD) is one of the most significant concerns in dentistry. In contrast to initial treatments, such as pharmacotherapy and physiotherapy, which act as temporary tranquilizers, growth factors have shown promising results in the stimulation of cell division. Given the limited research on the positive impact of platelet-rich pl...

متن کاملPlatelet-Rich Plasma Injections for Advanced Knee Osteoarthritis: A Prospective, Randomized, Double-Blinded Clinical Trial
BACKGROUND Intra-articular injections of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to treat symptoms of knee osteoarthritis (OA) have been successfully used in young patients and in the early stages of disease. No previous studies have analyzed outcomes of PRP injections during the late stages. HYPOTHESIS PRP reduces pain and leads to a more effective and lasting functional recovery than corticosteroid with...

We designed a randomized clinical trial with control group, to investigate the effects of platelet rich plasma (PRP) on pain, stiffness, function and quality of life in patients with knee osteoarthritis. Patients were randomly divided in two groups. For both groups of participants, therapeutic exercise was prescribed. In the PRP group, two courses of leukocyte rich PRP (5.6 fold higher platelet...
